Gedime Motors is proud to play a part in the Netball World Youth Cup taking place in Gibraltar in 2025. As a business rooted in our community, we are committed to supporting initiatives that showcase Gibraltar on the international stage.
Our team is providing logistical support to help ensure the smooth running of this landmark event. We are honoured to contribute to a tournament that welcomes athletes and visitors from around the world, and we are delighted to see Gibraltar shine as host.
At the Capurro Group, community spirit and giving back are at the heart of everything we do. This year, our teams across Gedime Motors, A.M. Capurro, and AMC Credit came together to take part in Jeans for Genes Day, an annual campaign dedicated to supporting children and families living with genetic disorders.
Employees swapped their usual workwear for denim, proudly wearing jeans to raise awareness and funds for this vital cause. The day was not only an opportunity to support a meaningful initiative but also a chance for our teams to come together in solidarity, showing that small actions can have a big impact.
Funds raised will go towards helping those affected by genetic conditions, providing them with much-needed support and resources.

Gedime Motors, part of the Capurro Group, is proud to have supplied Gibraltar’s first hybrid London-style taxi for public trials, in partnership with the Gibraltar Taxi Association.
The vehicle combines electric propulsion with a small petrol engine, providing a more sustainable and efficient alternative to traditional taxis. Fully wheelchair accessible and designed for passenger comfort, the vehicle retains the classic design of the iconic London cab while delivering the benefits of modern hybrid technology.
The trial will help assess the vehicle’s suitability for Gibraltar’s roads and daily taxi use, with the Gibraltar Taxi Association and drivers invited to evaluate its performance. If successful, it could form part of a wider rollout supporting Gibraltar’s transition towards lower-emission transport.
Gedime Motors is pleased to support this important step in local mobility, and remains committed to working with public and private partners to help shape a cleaner, more inclusive transport future for Gibraltar.
